The following conducive conditions are specific to the two main wood destroying insects in our area, they are the Eastern Subterranean Termite and the Carpenter Ant. If you have at least three of the conducive conditions listed below and have not had an inspection within the previous two years, please call our office and request an inspection.
 
Conditions that are conducive for Termites
Any siding to ground contact.
Garage door frames touching the ground.
Concrete front stoop.
A neighbor who recently has had termite activity.
Excessive soil moisture at wood to ground contact.
Wood frame basement windows.
Home is 10 years or older.
Conducive conditions for Carpenter Ants
Water damage at window frames, door frames, chimney frames, roof sheathing or soffits.
Overflowing blocked gutters.
Live ants inside your home at anytime of the year.
